Position Summary

In the context of Network support team in Vmoksha, we need an individual who is responsible for the Level 2 support of the enterprise LAN/WAN/wireless and routing and switching solutions and infrastructure, round the clock 24/7. The IT Infrastructure team is also responsible for managing heterogeneous environment & generate metrics related to Network performance, capacity planning, availability and failure rates.

What are we looking for?

  • Excellent IP networking fundamentals and extensive experience in the application of IP protocols
  • Strong in Routing and Switching
  • Experience in IP services (IPv4, IPv6, VPN, Multicast, QoS, SNMP, VOIP, SIP, etc.).
  • Platform knowledge on Cisco/Juniper and checkpoint
  • Routing protocols like OSPF, BGP, MPLS, ISIS, etc..
  • Proven experience in network management & Expert knowledge of network analysis tools (Preferably Nagios)
  • Hands on experience with Protocol Analyzer tools & debugging tools.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages like Perl/Python
  • Knowledge on Linux Platform.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • CCNA/CCNP Mandatory

Key Responsibilities:


  • Planning, scheduling & management of network (LAN / WAN) projects. Installing, configuring & maintaining network equipment & devices; implementing structured cabling, routers, switches firewall.
  • Independently own the Network Infrastructure support solving complex issues and suggest design modifications as appropriate.
  • Responsible for performance analysis, proactive troubleshooting and capacity planning for the Network platforms.
  • Develop and manage relationships with internal leadership teams, business managers, and business teams
  • Conduct assessments and make recommendations on data/voice network (LAN/WLAN/WAN/DMZ/Internet), disaster recovery, remote access, and network appliances
  • Work within required SLAs for the business and provide regular and frequent status updates.
  • Work closely with team to help report issues and manage project deliverables and provide status and progress reports
  • Provide feedback and participate in the development of the automation tools


Experience and Qualifications

  • Relevant Exp: 4 – 6 Years
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field.
