Experience       : 3 – 6 years of work experience in Endpoint Orchestra

Education         : M.E / M.Tech /B.E / B.Tech/ Bachelor’s Degree

Main Responsibilities

Job Summary/ TASKS:

  • Check system logs for errors and take necessary actions to restore normal service (troubleshooting, escalation to system owner/local system admins…)
  • Implement agreed configuration changes to the McAfee Products in the infrastructure, as approved by the McAfee Operations Team.
  • Provide regular reporting on infrastructure status: ePO agent’s version, McAfee products versions and etc…
  • Test and implement McAfee related technologies
  • Testing and implementing application related patches and service packs
  • Manage product upgrades on all Managed endpoints
  • Design ePO Reports based on customer requirements
  • Managing Task
  • Change Management
  • Incident Management
  • Configuration (CMDB/ inventory) Management
  • performance tuning
  • To document WINS/SOP/Documents/How to’s
  • To Build and maintain Knowledge Base for
  • Technical Team Building
  • Daily Meet with the Team
  • Knowledge Transfer / Mentor/ Coaching
  • Technical discussion
  • Open support calls with McAfee Support if required

Required IT Skills

  • Minimum qualification B.E / B.Tech / Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3 – 6 years’ experience, in which at least 2 years direct work experience with McAfee
  • ePO Anti-virus technologies (VSE, GSE, HIPS, Drive Encryption…etc.)
  • Extensive knowledge of call logging system (BMC Remedy, Peregrine, etc.)

Mandatory Technical Skills on End Point Protection.

  • A sound working knowledge of computer network operations in a complex Microsoft Windows, Unix/Linux, Cisco, Ethernet, and TCP/IP environment with Internet access.
  • Experience and understanding of TCP/IP open networking protocols is essential knowledge of SSL/TLS and IPSEC is an advantage.
  • Experience Knowledge of various forms of encryption and hashing technologies. · Experience with firewalls.
  • Good understanding and knowledge of Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2012 Operating systems.
  • Good time management skills to handle multiple complex support tickets simultaneously.
  • Excellent communications and presentation skills and the candidate must have the ability to communicate with internal/external customers, vendors, management etc. in both formal and informal situations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills are needed to team well with peers, customers, project managers, and vendors.
  • Able and used to work in a multi-cultural, “virtual team” environment but also self-driving.
  • Good Understanding of Active directory

Nice to have

  • ITIL Foundations Certified or Higher
