JOB Position: ITSM System Engineer L3

Job Summary:

  • Hands on BMC Remedy ARS/ITSM support/development
  • Part of ITSM support to ensure the availability/capacity of the system
  • Experience in ITSM support in different modules like Incident, Service Request, Service Level Management, Knowledge Management, Asset Management, Approvals, CMDB and Change Management modules. ITSM queue management.
  • Maintain ITSM system through effective change control process as per applicable procedures.
  • Investigate and provide root cause/solution to Remedy problem tickets.
  • Experience in spoon job, data loader
  • Experience in SmartIT/MyIT- Digital Workplace in the Advanced version
  • Experience in ITSM system integration with third party. Troubleshoot integration issues.
  • Monitor system operation and provide effective support to ensure system performance and availability.
  • Ensuring adherence to SLAs/OLAs
  • Supporting Database Concepts, SQL and Windows Commands
  • Should have knowledge of applying patches on server as and when required
  • Team Player

  • Excellent communication internally (in Bangalore with his direct colleagues) and globally (Belgium, US, …) with IT System Owner and others stakeholders;

Required IT Skills

  • 8+ years of Total IT experience in BMC Remedy.
  • BMC Remedy ARS & ITSM professional skilled in Remedy 9.x Administration, Development, Customization and Support
  • Experience in using Developer studio
  • Exposure to work on customized remedy environment.
  • Experience in checking server load, daily checks and restarting the applications.
  • Troubleshooting and providing On-Call support (24/7) on Remedy.
  • Handling critical incidents.
  • Skilled in resolving customer issues in SLA time.
  • Experience in working server group and load balancer environment.
  • Experience in BMC Remedy integration with third party tools. Troubleshoot integration issues. Using Webservice, etc.
  • ITIL Foundation certified – must.
  • Good to have BMC Remedy certification in 9.1
  • Good to have experience in Remedy SSO
