Vmoksha Extends Support to Kerala Flood Victims

God’s own country, Kerala, the beautiful paradise with its calm backwaters is today devastated by the worst floods. The loss of life and property is unprecedented, with over 350 people died & more than two lakh people left homeless.

To strengthen its commitment towards society, Vmoksha invited contributions from its employees to extend relief measures to the flood victims by offering donations. As Vmokshaites have always been at the forefront to assist people who were affected by natural disasters, they generously responded and offered funds for rescue and relief operations. With their contribution, we were able to pledge groceries and clothes to about 20 homes in Changanassery and Kunnamthanam areas in order to ease the sufferings of the people by directly reaching their homes.

Vmoksha Invited Toastmaster To Sharpen Public Speaking Skills

To master the art of public speaking, Vmoksha invited Toastmaster, Mr. Agnel Worth, on 2nd August 2018 to build confidence among employees and to become a more organized, convincing, and confident presenter.

We gave a warm welcome to Mr. Agnel Worth who is a Marketing Professional with 18 years of work experience in the education sector. He is working for a public-sector Government University from Canada heading Southeast Asia and also served the Government of British Columbia, Canada in the Trade and Investment division, under the Ministry of International Trade. He is an engineer by education followed by Masters in Economics, an MBA in Marketing & PG in International Trade. He also trained MBA graduates in Economics and Marketing at All India Management Association (AIMA). Agnel is an avid Toastmaster for 6 years, won several contests and represented at the District level, which is equivalent to two provinces or states.

During the session, Agnel explained that public speaking is important to build Career, Personal Development, and Self-confidence. He educated us on how to deliver a speech and also suggested few tips to become a better speaker.

The Agnel’s session built confidence among Vmokshaites, which in turn helps the organization in taking business to the next level.

Spirit Week Dress-up Themes at Vmoksha

If employees are having fun, they work harder, maintain their composure in a crisis, stay longer, and take better care of the organization; this is what we believe and follow at Vmoksha. To break the monotonous work routine, Vmoksha brings employees together for Spirit Week: Four days of unique dress color themes.

As month-end was just around the corner, we decided to have some fun by wearing unique dress color during the week, i.e., from 28th to 31st May. We all dressed up in Blue on Monday, Black on Tuesday, White/Yellow on Wednesday, and Red on Thursday. Every day, we gather in the evening to take pics and have fun time while few are busy in sharing the pics on social media. The celebrations geared up on the last day as we also celebrated our regular month-end birthday celebrations along with snacks and fun activities. Vmoksha has also rewarded few employees with performance excellence awards for their best services to the organization.

The mastermind behind the Spirit Week is Nethra Manjunath, our HR executive, who planned and motivated teams and made this an exciting event.

Sankranti Celebrations at Vmoksha

Vmoksha Bangalore Development Center Head, Ms.Poulami Banerjee, Vice President – Operations, organized Sankranti event to bring employees close and enhance the culture of the organization. On this occasion, the office was beautifully decorated with rangoli and props like sugarcane to welcome the new season of harvest. All the Vmokshaites have shown up in the traditional attire adding colors to the festive mood. We had a small pooja performed at the office for the well being and prosperity of the organization.

We had a Potluck to add fun to the workplace and encourage Vmokshaites to connect with one another over food. Most of the employees have enthusiastically participated and brought few dishes to share with everyone.

It was a wonderful celebration and pleasure to have Ms. Poulami as an influential leader at Vmoksha who always encourage employees to enliven the festive spirit and creates an exciting workplace that increases employee confidence to achieve satisfying results.

It’s the season to celebrate. Yes, another year is coming to an end and we are well into the magical time of super-sized celebrations. At Vmoksha, the Christmas & New Year celebrations have reached new heights with cubical decorations and fun games along with food and soft drinks.

This year, Vmoksha is ahead with the celebrations decorating the office environment with Christmas tree, colorful lights, stars and other festive decorative items. This year, Vmoksha is attending Radiological Society of North America’s (RSNA) Annual Meeting in Chicago, IL that will be held from November 26th to 30th.

As Vmoksha is in developing Radiology Information System for AZ-Tech Radiology, AZ, USA, we are keen to show up at this meeting for better perception of technical improvements in the Radiology Industry. We would like to explore the modern innovations presenting by technical exhibitors and perceive how we can leverage the emerging trends such as Machine Learning, AI, and IoT in the RIS development.
