Position            : Network DC L3

Job Location    : Bangalore

Experience       : 6 – 12 years of work experience in Data Centre Networking

Education         : M.E / M.Tech /B.E / B.Tech/ Bachelor’s Degree

Main Responsibilities

  • Specializing in Network solutions for Wide scale enterprise services/clients
  • Design Implement and Troubleshoot Complex Layer 2 and Layer 3 Technologies
  • Implement and Troubleshoot network services
  • Implement and Troubleshoot Data Center Automation
  • Implementation and troubleshooting of Core and Distribution switches
  • Implementation and troubleshooting management tools i.e. Cisco Prime Infrastructure, etc.
  • Work on Project/Tasks to propose and implement best practices design/solutions
  • Ensure proper operations of the  Network infrastructure in the Data Center and Campus
  • Maintain High availability with zero defective design of Core Network infrastructure across
  • Develop  Network infrastructure and make recommendations on systems enhancements/ optimization.
  • Working with inshore/offshore team for transition,
  • Coordination/collaborate with other project teams to deliver effective solutions
  • Provide high-quality technical support to maintain a qualified environment
  • Perform Event, Incident, Change and Problem Management as per ITIL standards defined in
  • Ensure resolution/implementations of incidents/activities within SLA
  • Mentor other engineers on technologies and process

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Electronics/Computer Science required with 6 years or more experience in network management and support
  • Must have at least 4-year experience in Remote Mgmt. in a Global Platform
  • In-depth knowledge of Cisco Data Center product platform
  • Certified in ITIL foundation (v3) best practices mandatory
  • CCIE-Data Center (LAB) certification is mandatory

IT SKILLS

  • Expertise in install, configure, monitoring and troubleshooting of Cisco Data Center and Campus Network components
  • Expertise in Industry Standards for Network devices in Data Center
  • Expertise in Data Center Automation
  • Expertise in Network Management tools like Cisco Works Prime Infrastructure, Network Analyzer, etc.
  • Knowledge of call ticket system (BMC Remedy, ITSM)
  • Understanding of advanced Routing and Switching
  • Experience with QoS
