Education         : M.E / M.Tech /B.E / B.Tech/ Bachelor’s Degree

Main Responsibilities

The candidate must have significant experience in managing:

  • Active Directory – Direct hands-on experience in managing & maintaining a large Active Directory environment is strongly needed. AD diagnostic tool experience is required.
  • ADFS (Active Directory Federation Services)
  • Azure Active Directory
  • PKI (Certificate Services)
  • Active Directory, Network Services (DHCP, DNS, DFS, DFSR and WINS), Replication, and GPO management, object management, migration activities, AD backup and restore operations, OU structure, security and delegation models, and queries and LDAP tasks.
  • Network Policy Server & Vasco Digipass Authentication
  • Forefront Identity Manager / Microsoft Identity manager (Good to have)
  • The candidate has to be familiar with working in a validated system environment (e.g. change management processes and change management tools, documentation of work and system configuration).
  • Basic knowledge of a call logging system (BMC Remedy, etc.) should be available. Project Management skills according to the framework are needed in order to run projects for customers or to enhance the current AD environment.
  • The candidate should be comfortable working closely with customers who are spread globally across many sites (Belgium, USA, Germany, UK, etc.). Knowing how to add users/groups/computers, setting ACL’s and using AD tools are not enough experience for this position.

    • Project Management skills
    • Stakeholder management
    • Good understanding & practical exposure to the ITIL Practices
    • Implementation experience in projects.

Technical Skills:

  • Extensive skills, expertize & knowledge of Active Directory (At least 5+ years of relevant experience)
  • Exposure to ADFS (Active Directory Federation Services) preferred.
  • Exposure to Azure AD environments & platforms.
  • Exposure to Forefront Identity Manager (FIM) or any other Directory Integration or Synchronization Technology or Single Sign-on Technology (Good to have)
  • Microsoft Network Policy Server (NPS)
    • Microsoft Certificate Services (PKI)
    • Vasco Digipass authentication services
  • Strong TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, DFS, DFSR, WINS, and SMTP knowledge
  • Exchange 2003 support for all AD related topics
  • Command line and remote administration: Batch, VBScript, PowerShell
  • Monitoring Active Directory using SCOM

Knowledge of the following technologies will be an added advantage:

  • Knowledge of Identity management suites (OMADA Identity suite, Oracle Identity manager etc.)
  • Cyber arc PAM System (Privileged account management)
  • Hitachi Password Self Service solutions
  • Wireshark and/or Netmon

Required IT Skills

  • Minimum qualification – Graduate (any discipline) or B. E / B. Tech / Diploma (Full Time)
  • Min 5 + years of hands-on relevant Active Directory Engineering(L3) & related technologies (ADFS, Azure AD etc.)
  • MCSE/MCITP/MCSA certification (Preferred)
  • ITIL Foundation Certification
  • Solid Knowledge of common IT tools – Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office XP &   2003, Outlook, Internet Explorer, VPN and remote connections)
  • Development of test cases/procedures and training documentation

During the first week of work, a detailed list of KPIs will be defined in collaboration along the following lines:

  • Productivity by number and complexity of incidents handled
  • Quality – first time right handling of incidents
  • Following the defined processes, and communicating correctly
