Job description

Position            :  IT Validation Analyst – L2 & L3

Job Location  :  Bangalore

Experience      :  4 – 12 years of work experience in validation and reporting

Education        :  M.E / M.Tech /B.E / B.Tech/ Bachelor’s Degree

Main Responsibilities

  • An excellent knowledge in the KPIs processes and by consequences, in the reporting tool used within client environment
      - Microsoft Excel (Graph functions, VLOOKUP functions, …)
      - Business Object Development reporting (BIBO, few SQL knowledge)
  • Experience working in the Pharma industry (Good to have)
  • A basic knowledge in the Compliance/Validation Processes (good to have!)
  • A basic knowledge in the Computerized Testing Processes and by consequences, in the testing tool used within Client Environment
      - HPALM (Training will be provided so it’s not a must have in this specific tool)
  • A basic knowledge in the Change Management Processes and by consequences, in the Change Management tool used within client environment :
      - SmartIT (Training will be provided so it’s not a must have in this specific tool)
  • A basic knowledge in Document Management Processes and by consequences, in the document management tool used within client environment :
      - Source CD (Training will be provided so it’s not a must have in this specific tool)

Additional skillset required:

  • Robust Organization and Structure within the day to day work activities;
  • Excellent communication internally (in Bangalore with his direct colleagues) and globally (Belgium, US, …) with ITSO and others stakeholders;
  • Fluent in English;
  • Eager to Learn.

Technical skills

  • Exposure to KPI Reporting tools and processes (e.g. BIBO, MS Excel, Qlickview etc.)
  • Exposure to ITSM Change management process and tool (e.g. BMC ITSM Remedy system working knowledge as a process user essentially assessment of change requests within the change management workflow)
  • Exposure to Document management tool and processes (e.g. Veeva document management system)

Active Directory – L3

Position           :  Active Directory – L3

Job Location :  Bangalore

Experience     :  4 – 12 years of work experience in validation and reporting

Education       :  M.E / M.Tech /B.E / B.Tech/ Bachelor’s Degree

Main Responsibilities

The candidate must have significant working knowledge of:

  • Active Directory, Network Services (DHCP, DNS, and WINS), Replication, and GPO management, object management, migration activities, backup and restore operations, virus/patch management, OU structure, security and delegation models, and queries and LDAP tasks. (At least 2+ Years).
  • Direct hands on experience in maintaining a large AD environment is strongly preferred. AD diagnostic tool experience is required. Scripting skills are needed.
  • The candidate has to be familiar with working in a validated system environment (e.g. change management processes and change management tools, documentation of work and system configuration).
  • Basic knowledge of a call logging system (BMC Remedy, Peregrine, etc.) should be available. Project Management skills according to the UCB framework are needed in order to run projects for customers or to enhance the current AD environment.
  • The candidate should be comfortable working closely with customers who are spread globally across many sites (Belgium, USA, Germany, UK, etc.). Knowing how to add users/groups/computers, setting ACL’s and using AD tools are not enough experience for this position.
  • For the Service Lead position: o Project Management skills o Good understanding of ITIL Good Practices o Experience of leading a team of at least 4 – 6 members o Handling Infrastructure Consolidation or Migration projects will be an added advantage.

Technical Skills:

  • Microsoft certification: MCSE on Windows Server 2003, MCSE: Security on Windows Server 2003, MCSA Messaging on Windows Server 2003
  • Windows Server Operating Systems, specifically Windows NT/2000/2003 (At least 3 years)
  • Extensive Working & background knowledge of Active Directory (At least 3+ years)
  • Exposure to Microsoft Identity Integration Server (MIIS)or any other Directory Integration or Synchronization Technology or Single Sign on Technology (Good to have) • Exchange 2003 support for all AD related topics
  • Development of test cases / procedures and training documentation
  • Strong TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, WINS, and SMTP knowledge
  • Command line and remote administration: Batch, VBscript, PowerShell
  • Monitoring Active Directory using MOM 2005 or Operations Manager 2007
  • Familiar with Remote Desktop Software, VPN
  • Knowledge of the following will be an added advantage: o Microsoft IAS o Microsoft Certificate Services (or alternate Certificate Authority Services) o Vasco Digipass authentication services o Psynch Password Self Service o Wireshark
